Introduction

Shopify Power Tools offers a number of features to enhance your Shopify store, from an improved user experience, improved SEO, or reducing the amount of time spent on managing your store.

Getting Started

The first step to getting started is to install the app from the Shopify App Store. This will allow us to access your products, collections and redirects so that we can start processing your store.

Once you have installed the app you can now familiarize yourself with the available options by clicking on the side menu, and the help menu in the top right. The Frequently Asked Questions page also contains answers to a number of common questions.

Filter Menu

The Filter Menu adds faceted search to Shopify, allowing your customers to drill down into your products when browsing. Click here for more information

Variant Tagger

The Variant Tagger resolves an issue with the way that Shopify filters by variants, allowing you to create variant collections that only contain products that are in stock in that variant.

The Variant Tagger works well in conjunction with the Filter Menu to allow your customers to filter by color, size or other variant options. Click here for more information

Trending Products

The Trending Products app adds a new sort order for your collections - it shows the most popular items that have been viewed recently. This is a great addition to any store as it can help boost conversions by showing products that are most likely to be sold first. Click here for more information

User Sort Selector

The User Sort Selector allows your customers to change the sort order of the collection while they browse. Click here for more information

Smarter Collections

Feeling limited by the current smart collections rules? Smart collections only allow AND style filters, such as 'product type is Foo AND vendor is Bar'. Smarter collections allow you to use OR style conditionals and NOT conditions, such as 'product type is Foo OR vendor is Bar AND NOT Sold Out'. Click here for more information

Smart Delete

Randomized collections

Have an existing collection that you want to convert to a diffent type, such as custom, smart or smarter? You can use this handy tool to convert the collection, while keeping the links, images, description, handle and, depending on the collection type, the products the same.
